At this cosy, charming and quiet (only five rooms) inn/house - totally different from hotels,
built with care and decorated with the innholder Sebasti„o's artistical works
I stayed a fortnight - one week alone, then my husband joined me.
The atmosphere were very hospitable

Thank¥s for the all -
We¥ll without doubt be back again

My husband and I spent 3 days at Tavira Inn in early March 2010 and we loved it. It was a charming inn that matches the appeal of the city. Sebastiao was a wonderful host. His recommendations for restaurants and things to do were great. We needed to have reliable access to the Internet and the inn's free Wi-Fi worked like a charm.

The room had a terrace with a great view of the river Gilao and the north side of town (the opposite bank of the Praça da Republica, the main town square).

The inn is conveniently located a block from the bus station, a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk to the central square.

If you're the type of person who delights in exploring picturesque nooks and crannies almost everywhere you go, Tavira is a perfect choice and Tavira Inn is the perfect lodging for an intimate stay in a lovely town.

Dear Sebastiao,
We enjoyed very much our visit and staying at your hotel. OK, maybe the place is not very sofisticated, but we had a few hours of sitting in the sun, enjoying the quiet of the village and the simple but excellent almond pastry, pastel de nata etc. We had some of the best fish food in many years (particularly at the Avenida, which we found even better than Alcatruz). In Monchique a very different landscape: we had our dose of heavy rain, but between two showers we enjoyed very much the sight from the cliffs and the beaches of the Capo Sao Vincente, and excellent pork dishes. It was a very good visit and we surely will come back to Algarve in the off-season period. Best regards and thanks for your hospitality and good advice.

I spent 3 nights at the Tavira Inn. It was very comfortable and quiet at night, and I had the best 3 nights sleep. Tavira is a lovely place, you can use it as a base and make some great daytrips.

When I travel I always try to find accomodation with a certain aesthetic and have something unique. The Tavira Inn hit this imagination very well. I really loved the creative mix of the house and its environment: Materials, colours, shapes, pictures, plants. Everything in the house is distinctive and special and has a good quality. In addition to that I slept as deep as I seldom do in hotels.

Thanks Sebastiao

Thank you Sebastiao for the wonderful time we had staying with you. The room was lovely and we enjoyed relaxing around the pool between visits into town or to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed Tavira and definitely hope to come back.
