Dear Sebastiao, We enjoyed our time in your lovely house very much! After the first night we knew how to manage with the trains. Your tips were all very helpful and so we saw some lovely spots we otherwise wouldn't have found. Potugal is a very good place to spend holydays and Tavira is a realy nice town with terrific beaches near by. We hope to come back soon . We had a fantastic time at Casa do Rio. Sebastiao was the perfect host, with lots of key information about Tavira along with a charming, fun persona. The room was immaculately clean and the pool was gloriously refreshing in the August heat! I just I had stayed for longer - we will definitely be back!

Merci pour ce séjour formidable ! L'accueil à Casa da Rio est le seuil de la vraie rencontre avec Tavira. Ce petit havre de paix est une jolie introduction à la découverte de cette ville magnifique. Légèrement excentré, mais pas trop (à 3 minutes à pied du centre ville) ce petit hôtel de charme permet de se ressourcer, loin de l'afflux touristique. Sebastiao est très sympathique et entoure son environnement d'une foule de détails artistiques. Son Hôtel est décoré avec goût, le tout est très soigné. Nous y avons séjourné avec mon amie 9 nuits et nous ne le regrettons pas. Sebastio aurait cependant tout a gagné à investir dans une machine à café ! C'est la seule remarque que nous pourrons faire. Merci encore, nous rentrons à Paris le coeur chargé de ce charme ensoleillé ! Sylvie et Valérie.

Muito agradável estadia. Depois de uma curta visita em Junho resolvemos voltar em Agosto. Casa com muito bom gosto e com todas as comodidades necessárias. Fim de tarde na piscina é imperdível. Voltaremos Pedro

One of the best places we've been. Quiet, nice and very pleasant stay. It is just three minutes from the historic center. The saltwater pool is a great idea. I say the owner? Sebastiao is a painter artist who has decorated the place with love and good taste, always attentive and helpful, he gave us many tips for getting around the city. highly recommended Uno de los mejores alojamientos que hemos estado. Tranquilo, bonito y muy agradable estancia. está a tan solo tres minutos del centro historico. La piscina de agua salada es una gran idea. que digo del dueño? Sebastiao es un pintor artista que ha decorado ese sitio con cariño y buen gusto, atento siempre y servicial, nos dió muchos consejos para movernos por la ciudad. muy recomendable

La ubicación de la casa es genial para moverte por Tavira. Además, el lugar es tranquilo y está equipado con todo lo necesario. También destacar la magnífica decoración cuidada por Sebastiao. Sin lugar a dudas, recomendable si paráis por la zona del Algarve. Saludos desde Andalucía!

Un lugar maravilloso. Silencioso, muy limpio, la cama casi me la traigo porque el descanso en una buena cama es fundamental y esta es de lo mejor. La piscina,rodeada de todas esas plantas que Sebastao se encarga de cuidar es un lugar maravilloso para disfrutar de un baño a cualquier hora del día, incluso por la noche. Un lugar para la lectura, siesta ... yo voy a volver a tavira y a tavira Inn. Gracias por todo Sebastao! La casa es quien la habita y Sebastao es un artista !

Charming, eclectic, delightful... and I haven't even begun to tell you about the lovely guest house or unique Tavira .. Sebastian is a gracious and endearing host and anyone who stays at Casa de Rio/Tavira Inn is truly in for a treat! Just a picturesque walk away from the idyllic and historical gem Tavira, the Inn is nestled into the landscape and one feels immediately that they are in for a special time. The rooms are kitschy and comfy all at once (SUPER MATTRESS!) and the vibe is as good as it gets. Be sure to take Sebastian's advice as he knows the area well and has amazing taste. My only regret is is that we did not stay longer, and hurried along to Lagos, where there are more shops and restaurants but in my humble opinion, lack the grace, charm and other-worldly qualities of Sebastian, his Inn and Tavira! I'm not one for re-visiting a place much, but this may turn out to be my exception to the rule! Bravo!
