Together with my sister, I stayed 4 wonderful days in Tavira Inn/Casa de Rio, and cosy, homely,friendly, beautiful, nice, funny is only a few words trying to explend what Tavira Inn really is! The train so close to the house can look a bit frightening on pictures, but in fact it is REALLY fascinating to lay on your back in the (supreme, saltwater) pool and look up on the train passing for 3 seconds, only once or twice an hour! The house makes a good feeling of relaxation and the owner Sebastião helps a lot with that too! The way down to the city senter takes no more than max 10 minutes by slowly walking on nice and good lighted pavement. This short distance to the center is enough to give the house a quiet atmosphere. I will recommend to rent a bike for easy moving around in Tavira, for instance down to the ferryboat at 4 aguas will take 10 minutes from city senter. Tavira Inn will be my first choice on the next visit in Tavira!!
